Quality Metallurgical Lab was established in the year 1983by Late Mr. B. Chandrasekar in Chennai. He was a Chemistry Graduate and started this testing laboratory for catering the needs of many Organization, industries and Engineering units in around Chennai for the Chemical Testing. He was an experienced technical personnel in the field of Chemical testing on metals and alloys for Ferrous and Non Ferrous materials. The testing laboratory was taken over by Mrs. Hemakumar Buvaneswari in the year 1992 after her father and continued to serve the Industries and Engineering units for the Chemical Testing. Chemical testing were performed both in wet and instrument method.
The testing facilities include Chemical testing for metals and alloys for Ferrous materials using Spectrometric method. Mechanical testing included in the year 2023. This Laboratory Quality Manual is prepared and documented to implement the laboratory management system for the testing laboratory division which is incorporated to define and establish all the policies and reference procedures in line with the requirements of this International standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
